Why We Like The Circuit Crash Pad

Black Diamond designed the Circuit Crash Pad as a daily workhorse for cost-conscious boulderers. It comes with women- and men-specific shoulder pads and waist belts for a comfy carry. The crash pad itself is sized the same, and solid square with sharp corners that provide better coverage when it’s paired with other pads. Most of the pad is closed cell foam for long-lasting impact protection, and there’s a bonded layer of EVA for a cushy landing every time you drop. BD built the outer with PU-coated nylon for long-lasting resistance against abrasion, weathering, and mud.
